The court in the Cayman Islands has decreed that migrants to that country are not automatically entitled to receive legal aid when bringing claims for asylum.
As governments place more emphasis on economic migrants, the Australian and other “merit-based” immigration models, such as those found in Canada and New Zealand, must adapt in order to meet the demands of the market.
