The long-awaited draft bill that was scheduled to be laid before Bermuda’s House of Assembly at the next parliamentary session has now been further postponed
Members of parliament will meet at a temporary venue today due to continuing renovation work at Sessions House therefore the tabling of the so-called mixed status legislation which was delayed since July, will now not be heard. No revised timetable has been given.
This follows the on the heels of a closed-door meeting for Progressive Labour Party members only that was held at their headquarters on Court Street on Tuesday evening.
