A meeting on immigration reform in Bermuda is scheduled to take place today but attendance is restricted to members of the Progressive Labour Party (PLP) only
When initially advertised, it appeared that the meeting was to be a public forum however a spokesperson for the party later clarified the position and confirmed that attendance would be restricted to persons who are registered members of the governing party.
The meeting will be led by Wayne Caines, the Minister of National Security, and Renée Ming, a PLP member of parliament and a member of the bipartisan parliamentary committee on immigration reform.
