Canadian biometric data to be collected in Bermuda

The Ministry of National Security has launched a trial programme to enable Bermuda residents to get their visas and other residency permissions finalised on the island

Bermuda residents wishing to visit, live, work or study in Canada will be able to have their biometric information collected on the island rather than having to make time-consuming and expensive trips to the United States for this purpose as the Consulate General of Canada will send a team to Bermuda July 9 to 11, 2019 in order to collect the necessary information.

Applicants who have completed the online process must bring the biometrics instruction letter from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada with them as well as a valid passport to submit their biometrics.

The data will be collected at the Department of Immigration in Hamilton.
