The Minister of National Security Wayne Caines has met with industry stakeholders to discuss immigration policy and procedures.
On Friday the Minister met with the Department of Immigration and the Chairman of the Immigration Board, and today he met with several industry stakeholders including the Association of Bermuda International Companies, the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers, the Bermuda Business Development Agency, the Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers, the Bermuda Hotel Association, and the Bermuda Insurance Management Association.
The Minister stated that his goal is to maintain a balance of transparency, fairness and a seamless process for expatriate workers while ensuring Bermudians are given the opportunity to grow and develop in local and international business thereby ensuring Bermuda is a place where everyone has equal access to opportunity.
